As a pool and beach management company, Honu’s foundation is built on protecting and contributing to the wellbeing of marine life.

This includes our effort to ensure each community we serve is thoroughly taken care of and all trash is disposed of properly at the end of each day. To further our efforts, starting in 2026, Honu’s staff, family, and friends, will host and participate in monthly beach clean-ups.

Though, despite our daily efforts, we know there is so much more that can be done, and needs to be done, to keep our beaches and marine life lively and safe. For this reason, beginning in 2025, Honu will donate yearly to the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program (BCSTCP) and the Nova Southeastern University’s Marine Environmental Education Center.

Additionally, in summer 2025, we will begin to sponsor annual Camper Scholarships at Camp Live Oak in Fort Lauderdale.

Further, Honu is excited to be creating a scholarship program in 2026. We aim to provide scholarship(s) for marine-related studies at Broward College, Miami Dade College, Florida Atlantic University, and/or Florida International University.
